Photo of the Babylon village projection exhibit

By the Rivers of Babylon

Interactive installation for an archaeological exhibition in the Bible Lands Museum, Jerusalem.

Exhibits included immersive information kiosks, motion-triggered animated videos, projection-mapped animations on a scale model of a Babylonian village, and an augmented reality "mirror" in which viewers can interact with life-size virtual characters and objects that are visible only in the projected display.

Originally intended as a temporary exhibition, its success prompted the meusuem to keep the installations in its permanent collection.

Built with Unity, Kinect and openFrameworks.
